Early Onset SABOWL Syndrome

SABOWLlockerroomGreetings SABOWLers! It’s been pretty quiet on the SABOWL front for the 10th anniversary of the SABOWL. I’m growing increasingly concerned that we are seeing our first ever collective case of early onset SABOWL Syndrome. Seems like virtually everyone has given up before the SABOWL has even gotten heated up.

The good news: we’ve got plenty of time to make that right.

Currently, it’s so quiet in the locker room that it makes Mike Gundy sick and we really don’t want to make him sick. He’s a man, probably about 50 years old now.*

SABOWL X is anybody’s SABOWL at this point (with the exception of maybe Ellen, sorry)! Today will be a big day to see if we start to see any separation of the leaders from the large group in the middle of the pack.

The biggest question though…will the Sabo’s actually wake up enough to make SABOWL X worth paying attention to?

See you in the locker room!

*Sorry about the shameless Mike Gundy reference, just trying to make sure we keep up with our Mike Gundy quota.

Just got a text from Jack, he’s still LOST but he has ESPN, told me Marshall is covering the spread at the half.

I’m estimating there will be at least 80 posts today. #sabowlie

Trying to find the right hashtag for the SABOWL version of a selfie. Commenting to one’s self in the lonely locker room.

I’m gonna need some feedback on that before I add it to the Dictionary. When was the last time we had an addition to the dictionary? Probably the last time the SABOWL history was updated…

Its a roller coaster of emotions! I tried to make a Lost/We are Marshall tie in, wasn’t sure if it would land or if anyone would see it – haha

I love the locker cartoon and am thankful to not get the first smug call of the season. Pretty sure Sabowl activities will be ramping up on our end.

I was really excited about how the locker turned out! Shocked that Christina would have any role in a connection between smug & the SABOWL – haha

Unrelated from today’s SABOWL activity but the IL Sabo’s will almost certainly be in Georgia on New Year’s Eve! I’m thinking we should work on a SABOWL party and FaceTime in some MD Sabo’s.

Marshall’s kicker is brutal. I’m betting there are bookies in the stands with some dirt on him demanding he shank all these FG’s. #thereplacements #falcofalcofalco

    4 people tied at 9-5
4 people 2 games or less out
10 people within 4 games of the lead
all 11 competitors still have a shot

I won a game, so I decided to update the standings again. Maybe I’ll update sometime next week when I win another game.

Va Tech is favorite by 14.5.

Tulsa just missed an extra point that would have kept Tech from covering.
      Potential Sabowl in the miss.

All I have to say is Marshall is a bunch of Scum bags for kicking that extra field goal. Why did they feel a need to run the score up They had a comfortable lead of 3. Also Frank Beamer has truly disappointed me for not running the score up. He should have won that game by at least 15 points.
