Sabowl STORIED (vol. 1)

In an effort to bring the greatness of the Sabowl, we would like to introduce a new aspect call Sabowl STORIED. Sabowl STORIED will be articles and documentary series that explores the rich history of the Sabowl.

Pre-surgery. Ready to resume Sabowl greatness.

You may be aware that former Sabowl Champion (Sabowl IX) recently had potentially Sabowl career ending surgery. Following her Toilet Bowl performance from last season, she realized something had to be done.

Where did she turn? Where the best go….Dr. James Andrews. “World–class athletes, weekend warriors, youth athletes and everyday people have access to state–of–the–art performance training and health care services conveniently located in Gulf Breeze, Florida at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Under the leadership and reputation of internationally renowned orthopaedic sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews”

Christina commented following the surgery, “RGIII, Sam Bradford, Todd Gurley, and  Terrell Owens are just a few of the many elite athletes like myself who have chosen the Andrews Institute for their surgery needs.”

It appears that the surgery has definitely helped Christina with her Sabowl performance. She recently ran off a potentially record 12 straight wins. Sabowlmetric experts are looking into the record books to confirm. Going into the New Years Day bowl games, she is tied for the lead with Jonathan. She is looking forward to a strong finish.

“Walking into the building gives you a sense of excitement, I felt like I was with my people. Pictures of athletes adorning the walls. I don’t know how today or the rest of the Sabowl season will play out but I’d love to send my picture to the Andrews Institute while holding the coveted Sabowl. They could add that picture to the walls to give others hope. Pressing on to a 2020 win!”

Coming off a tough Sabowl XIII season where Christina earned the Toilet Bowl has changed her perspective. One thing that we have not seen this year is the “Christina Smugness” that we have come to appreciate in the Locker Room. We are not sure if this will resurface as she works toward another Sabowl win.

Dr. Andrews was not available for comment at the time of article publishing but does intend to make himself available to sit with Christina and the rest of the family during the Championship Game.

Christina, send me contact information for the Doc. Think I might be needing that number. In the short term though, I would like the Toielt Bowl to arrive promptly.

Christina is our sole leader. Looks there won’t be any ground to make up tomorrow, so I guess we won’t see a spreadsheet update till about Saturday.

      Thwg!

I think there would have been a different result if georgia didn’t knock out Baylor’s quarterback with that cheap shot in the 4th quarter. What do you expect from Georgia though. Scum bags!

Pretty sure when you hit someone who is already out of bounds and you are penalized for it that could be classified as a cheap shot. Sad that georgia allows these thugs on the field. I guess winning is more important than integrity. I would rather lose the Sabowl than be associated with that kind of shenanigans.

He was penalized, its was not targeting it was a late hit. It was no different than any other team doing it, I guess you want all penalties to be called cheap shots from now on. Or just the teams that hurt your feelings?

He was committed to the hit. You can’t stop a truck in motion. The penalty fit the infraction. Refs got it right. Still not a cheap shot it’s football. I’d rather them play tackle than play flag.

Out of concern for Jonathan’s call for “integrity” and would “rather lose the SABOWL than to be associated with that kind of shenanigans” in regard to UGA’s unnecessary roughness penalty. I thought I would point out a few calls he may have missed in regard to his winning picks. I think you’ll all agree he would be pretty disgusted and want his name withdrawn from those picks so that he is not associated with these “scum bags”
    1 Buffalo – unsportsmanlike conduct 4th
    2 Kent State – unnecessary roughness 1rst
3 San Diego State- unsportsmanlike conduct 2nd
    4 Louisiana Tech – personal foul 1srt
    5 LSU – roughing the passer 2nd
    6 Clemson – unsportsmanlike conduct 4th
    7 Western Michigan – unnecessary roughness 1rst
8 Kentucky – roughing the kicker and unsportsmanlike conduct just in the 1rst. I mean they flat out tried to end that kickers career!
9 Arizona State – personal foul

These are not complete results just a quick compiling of stats. I’m sure you’ll want to double check the other teams to make sure there is no other thuggish behavior you’ll want to recuse yourself of.
You’ll be glad to know the Air Force and Navy played clean, though I myself expect my military to be more aggressive and on the edge.
    You are welcome.

I think its been made clear there is no reasoning on this. If the ref called it they must go to jail. 5 years max.

I mean I would like to give them a pass but if we are holding them to the same standard as Georgia, it is what it is.
