Happy New Sabowl Year!

Happy News Year everyone!

Very interesting evening for the Sabowl competition. There was a hard charge for the lead but Rebecca held everyone off. That was a true test of what it takes to be a Sabowl champion. Could this be the year? It will not be easy as I know that many others are in striking distance and smelling blood….and it is a sweet, sweet smell.

Good luck to everyone today and I hope that the Sabowl treats you well.

Many games on the schedule today.

Check your spreadsheet and have a good day. There may be updates as the day goes.

I’ve been a time or 6 before…was pulling for Emily to keep the SABOWL in IL but that didn’t last too long! Rebecca has dominated.

      Good question Danny.

It is interesting that Jonathan manages the spreadsheet, it would be too obvious for him to tamper in a way that benefitted himself so Rebecca would be the obvious benefactor of potential cheatery. #aconspiracyisafoot

That is preposterous. I am shocked that you would even think of accusing me of that.

In other news, can you believe that my record is 27-0 right now. I couldnt do better than that if I managed the spreadsheets.

In all seriousness, you do have a back up file with the selections that I do not have access to. So I can squash your little conspiracy right there.

It is still possible for anyone but Rebecca to win the Toilet Bowl? There are also many other Questions to answer. Who will win 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 10th?

    Hello? Is anyone out there?

    Here is my first subheading.
a.) I am missing the Sabowl updates.
b.) I would like to share with you the wonderful blessings that the Sabowl has brought to me this year.
i.) I have watched more football in the past couple of weeks than I have collectively in my entire life. I can thank the Sabowl for that.
ii.) I have discovered that the UGA running back’s name is in fact “Girley.” My grandpa kept shouting “C’mon girly get to work” and I thought it was quite snarky. Then again, he’s quite the snarky gentleman. When I heard the announcers calling him “girly” I thought, wow…poor guy…I mean, his hair is on the longer side but there’s no need for name calling. Thank you Sabowl for restoring my faith in humanity.
iii.) I have learned that the Sabowl Syndrome is a very long…very sad…and very serious condition. Where does this Sabo competitive streak come from?
iv.) I have learned that the Sabowl website officially shuts down at the first sign of eliminations.
v.) I have learned that quick Sabowl picks based upon pretty team logos and the cuteness level of each team’s mascots trump hours of researching picks.
vi.) I have learned that even though I have made genuine and honest picks based upon my love for rice, fans who wear corn on their heads, and the sad state of Iowa (because c’mon, there’s never any love for Iowa…it’s completely forgotten and under estimated) I will forever be investigated for my love and commitment to the Sabowl.

    This is my second subheading.
a.) No one will ever read this so there is no point to my subheadings and commitment to organization.

Nice acceptance post…read the whole thing as painful as it was.

That being said, we unfortunately have no plans to make it to GA for quite some time so we’ll enjoy our moments with the SABOWL for as long as we can (basically until somebody comes to retrieve it). Since we didn’t get it until August…we wont worry if it takes some time – haha.
